Your design, and where it might go.

Enjoy designing for its own sake, or explore what it could take to turn your dial into something physical. You don’t need equipment to start creating.

Begin with your eye.

Choose a starting point in the Design Library. Explore its pattern and color, add markers or numerals, and save your editable design when you want to return to it.

Explore the surface.

Grayscale, Colour and Realistic previews let you look at your design in different ways. Preview colors and surface effects are illustrative; they are not a promise of a particular metal finish.

If you decide to make it.

The studio has Laser, CNC and Engine Turning workspaces. Each offers a different way to develop a design or prepare reference material. Available outputs depend on the workspace and design.

Laser recipes need tests on your own material and machine. CNC reference geometry still needs machining preparation. Engine Turning tooling and motion studies are experimental and require physical checks. A saved design or exported file does not establish a finished dial’s fit or quality.

Before making a final piece, check its dimensions, movement openings, tooling and process on a sacrificial sample. Take the time to learn what your tools and material actually do.

Keep your next idea close.

Save editable designs in your browser and export a design JSON when you want a portable copy. Preview lighting is session-only, so restore it separately when comparing a reopened design.
